Pheasant Acres is a peaceful and quiet campground located just 5 miles from I-44, making it easy to access from both east and west bound. The campground is surrounded by woods and is a great place to relax and make new friends. There are 25 sites, each with a picnic table, fire pit, and full hookups. The owner, Sherry, is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area, and will make sure you have an enjoyable stay. There are trails for biking, a big open field for the kids to play ball, and rabbits to feed. The bathrooms and showers are clean, and there is a private changing room that opens to the ground. Wifi and TV are available, although satellite reception is not always reliable. Pheasant Acres is a great place to stay for a night or a few days, and is conveniently located near Meramec Springs and the small town of St. James.
