What others are saying
Hawker Point COE Park is a beautiful campground located an hour north of Springfield, MO. It is well maintained and offers both electric and non-electric sites, with plenty of shady spots. The lake is perfect for swimming and kayaking, and the views are stunning. The campground has no swim beach, but there are shoreline areas that can be used for swimming. The bathrooms are clean and the camp host is friendly. The sites are all fairly decent and not too bunched together, making it a great spot for those looking for privacy and quiet. There are plenty of places to hike and fish, and the lake is generally calm in the early morning before it gets too windy. Reservations are recommended as the campground is usually full.
