This campground is a great option for an inexpensive overnight stay. It is conveniently located just 1/4 mile off I-44 via a good paved highway, and there is a Super Wal-Mart located 8 miles west towards Springfield. The campground has level spots with easy access, wide interior roads free of obstacles, and long pull-through sites with convenient electric, water, and sewer hook-ups. There is no WiFi or cable TV, but you can get lots of digital channels from nearby Springfield. The staff is friendly, but the mens restroom is dark and used for storage of old, outdated items. The manager is a heavy smoker, and the office smells like a tobacco barn. There are few trees, so satellite TV and internet dishes work well. We are 65 and had no problem fitting without disconnecting.
