This campground is a great place for a quiet getaway. Located in a beautiful woodsy setting, it offers 40 RV sites with a mix of full hookups and electric only sites, as well as a drop latrine. The sites are relatively level and are mainly concrete or asphalt, and the campground is kept very clean. It also features a large, newer shower house with 6 individual shower rooms for added privacy. There are plenty of activities for all ages, such as nature hikes, playgrounds, tennis courts, fishing, and biking trails. The campground is also close to the Amish community in Jamesport, MO. Cell phone service is 4G, and there is no Wi-Fi or TV reception. The camp host is friendly and helpful, and the rules are enforced strictly. The cost reflects a $2 per night senior discount for over 65, making it a great value for a peaceful and scenic stay.

From The Campground

Crowder State Park provides 1,912 acres in the rolling green hills of northern Missouri. Visitors can enjoy more than 17 miles of hiking, bicycling, backpacking and equestrian trails in a forested, rugged terrain. The park also offers fishing and boating opportunities on 18-acre Crowder Lake. The family-oriented campground includes modern restrooms and shady picnic sites are scattered throughout the park.
