There is a restaurant up the mountain at Big Spring Park, and a ramp next to the office for launching tubes or kayaks. However, the park is not ideal for overnight stays due to the access from US-60 and the steep driveway into the park. Additionally, the sewer fitting is above ground and free cable is only available to a few back-in sites. Dogs running loose in the park are also an issue.
