Greenville Recreation Area in Wappapello, MO is a beautiful and clean campground that offers full hookups for RVs with up to 50 amps. Despite being near a cemetery, the park is still peaceful and provides plenty of opportunities to enjoy wildlife, fishing, and a nice swimming beach. There is a paved bike trail that leads to Greenville, making it easy for visitors to explore. While the roads to the park are twisty and narrow, the campground itself is well-maintained, and the paved sites are level with a concrete pad for picnics. The restrooms are clean, and the staff is friendly. Although the showers are communal, they are equipped with curtains for modesty, and there are no privacy issues. Overall, it is a great park that offers a quality camping experience for all ages and backgrounds.

Wappapello Lake offers a variety of recreational activities for visitors to enjoy. Camping enthusiasts will find that there is truly something for everyone at Wappapello Lake. Both traditional and primitive camping areas are available year-round. Facilities at the campgrounds differ and may include electrical hookups, showers, restrooms, grills, tables, drinking water and boat mooring areas. The lake is also great for fishing, hiking, equestrian activities, and picnicking. Three maintained sand beaches offer swimmers a place to bring the children, relax and enjoy the summer sunshine.
