Deer Rest Campground is a family-owned campground located in the heart of Warsaw, Missouri. The campground offers beautiful waterfront views and a variety of campsites, including basic, full hook-up, and primitive tent sites. The shower facilities and restrooms are clean, and pets on a leash are allowed in most areas. The campground is just minutes away from Drake Harbor and Truman Lake, and local attractions of interest include The Lost Valley Fish Hatchery and Harry S. Truman Overlook & Visitors Center. The area offers a range of activities, including boating, water sports, hiking, picnicking, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, mountain biking, fishing, and shopping. The campground also offers a shuttle service within a 60-mile radius, and local wineries are popular destinations. Deer Rest Campground is open from March 1 to November 15, and the shower house is available from March 15 to November 15.
