Big Sky RV Campground is a peaceful and quiet campground located less than a mile from the downtown area of Anaconda. The reservation and check in process is low tech with the manager filling out paperwork by hand and providing helpful maps of the area. The sites are small for larger rigs, but are well-equipped with 50 amp hookups, full hookups, and Verizon cell coverage. The campground is pet friendly, but the pet area is full of excrement. There is also a fee of $1.50 for each person after the first two. The campground offers a paved path along the creek, leading to a wonderful old park with a duck pond, baseball field, trout hatchery, outdoor swimming pool, and tennis courts. At night, guests can hear the Warm Springs creek murmuring and watch the starry sky. There is also a path to a grassy city park, where they sometimes do Shakespeare. The campground is close to the Old Works Golf course, making it a great destination for golfers.
