The campground has a lovely stream running through it, providing a peaceful and serene atmosphere for campers. Although its not suitable for swimming due to its shallow water, the stream is perfect for fly-fishing. The sites are spacious, clean, and shaded, with wooden tent pads making it easy to set up and pitch a tent. However, campers need to be aware of the dangers posed by grizzly bears in the area. The game wardens will levy a hefty fine for leaving food and/or fire unattended, so make sure to plan before you prepare food or start a fire. The campground host is very friendly and keeps a lending library of books, promoting outdoor explorations for children. The nearest restroom is a bit of a walk from the sites, but its well-maintained and clean. Nearby Swiftcurrent Inn provides basic necessities, food, and drink options. For those who are interested in wildlife, we definitely recommend a visit to Fishercap Lake, where moose sightings are frequent.
