Despite the occasional bear or mountain lion sighting, the park is safe for guests. The hosts are friendly and helpful, making sure every guest feels at home and welcomed. The gate locks at 8:00 PM and has a keypad for re-entry. The sites are arranged in a unique way, some with shade and some without. Boulder River runs next to the park. Wi-Fi is available and works better when the park empties out. The park is easily accessible since it is only two miles from the town.
