What others are saying about this campground
Salmon Lake Campground is a beautiful, family-friendly campground located off of a main road in the Mission and Swan mountain ranges. It has a variety of sites with electrical hookups and several water spigots throughout the park, as well as a day use area and boat launch adjacent to the park. It is a great spot for fishing, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, and other water sports. There are several trails surrounding the park and a walking trail that leads down to the lake. The campground is well-shaded with mature trees, but there is some road noise due to its proximity to the highway. There are also limited OTA television and satellite reception due to the number of trees. The park is well-maintained with a restroom and shower facility in the upper loop. Dogs are welcome, and the park ranger is very friendly and helpful.
