Hood Creek Campground is a beautiful campground located in the Hyalite Canyon on the Bozeman District of the Custer Gallatin National Forest. The campground offers 25 campsites, including 1 group site and 3 picnic sites. Amenities include vault toilets, trash pickup, and firewood for purchase. The campground is open from May 16th to October 15th and offers water access for non-motorized boating and fishing. Kayak rentals are also available on-site. The campground is located 17 miles south of Bozeman and reservations can be made through recreation.gov or by calling 1-877-444-6777. Visitors can enjoy activities such as camping, fishing, mountain biking, and nature viewing, including scenic views of the Hyalite Reservoir and waterfalls.
