From The Campground
Grasshopper Campground and Picnic Area is a 9-acre campground located in Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest. It has 24 designated campsites, ADA-accessible restrooms, and a picnic area for day-use. Potable drinking water is offered during the open season. Fishing and hiking may be enjoyed nearby. The campground is adjacent to Grasshopper Creek in a steep canyon. The maximum recommended trailer and truck length for the area is 25 feet. This is a pack it in, pack it out campsite with no garbage services. Please limit your stay to 16 days. Bear-resistant food storage boxes are available. There is a fee for the use of this campground.
