Turah RV Park is located in the beautiful pines just outside Missoula. The park is a nice little retreat near the Clark Fork River and has a little park on the river across the street for fly fishing enthusiasts. The bug count is low, making outdoor activities more enjoyable. The park offers a nice front office where you are able to purchase gas and other necessities, as well as a recreation room with exercise equipment, games, and an extensive collection of books. The full hookups are well-located. However, parts of the park are taken up by permanent residents, limiting the availability of spots for travelers. Several units are not in good shape, making the park look run-down. While the park is installing a new irrigation system, there is some construction noise that detracts from the ambiance. The sound from nearby trains is audible, but not a major disturbance. Overall, Turah RV Park is a decent place to stay if you are passing through, but be prepared for a cramped experience if you bring anything bigger than a small trailer.
