Big Creek Campground is a 22-site campground located in Flathead National Forest. The campground features picnic tables, vault toilets, fire grates, and potable water. There is a boat ramp for river launching. This is bear-country, so proper food storage is required. The campground has a 14-day stay limit and pets must be on a leash at all times. The campground is open from mid-May and has a medium-heavy usage. The best season to visit is from June to August, with July and August being the busiest. The closest town is Columbia Falls, MT. The campground offers individual campsites and group sites, which can be reserved by calling Toll Free 1-877-444-6777 or online at Recreation.gov. The fees for the campground are $18 for a single site, $36 for a double site, $5 for an extra vehicle, and $5 for day use. A $30 season pass for day use is available for all concessionaire sites on the Flathead National Forest.
