This campground is an excellent choice for fly fishing enthusiasts. Located off of the highway, it offers a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. It features cabins, restrooms with showers, a fly shop, and access to the renowned Bighorn river. There are RV sites with grass and level ground, surrounded by large mature trees. Hot showers with lots of pressure and clean towels are provided. The owners are friendly and helpful, and the campground is close to Yellowtail dam and the Big Horn River. There is spotty WiFi, but no TV reception. There is also deep mud in spots, so it is best to have food and alcohol for your stay.

Cottonwood Camp is a campground located on twenty-two acres of well-kept lawns, surrounded by uninhabited fields and marshes, within sight and walking distance of the Bighorn River. They offer thirteen lodging units, sixteen recreational vehicle sites, and a large camping area. They have two large bath houses, with modern restroom and shower facilities, as well as a coin-operated laundry mat. The campground is a great place for campers, trailers, and RVs, with all hookups, picnic tables with fire pits and grills, and plenty of shade. They also have a few cabins available for rent. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the facilities are clean and well-maintained. The campground is conveniently located near the main highway into the stunning Yellowtail Reservoir Canyon.
