Yellowstone RV Park in Gardiner, MT is a nice park with half of the sites located along Yellowstone River. It is located just a few miles from the north entrance of Yellowstone National Park. The staff is friendly and helpful. Although the cost is a little high, it is in line with other campgrounds in the area, and it is worth it for the location. Each site is made up of a gravel pad with a small grass area in between each one. They have small pet areas at each end of the park. While the park is not visually appealing, the area is so quiet, and the people are wonderful. The proximity to the national park is the reason to stay here. Its an easy access to the park, and theres also great access to the Lamar Valley area. You can relax in the park while watching the river flow by, and occasionally a small group of elk roam through the camp.
