Cromwell Dixon Campground is located in Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest, approximately 15 miles west of Helena at MacDonald Pass off Highway 12. The campground is situated right on the Continental Divide, providing spectacular views of surrounding country encompassing meadows, timbered slopes, and far away mountains. Trailhead access to the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail is nearby. The campground offers 14 single sites and 1 double site for tent and camping trailer camping. Amenities include picnic tables, vaulted toilets, and potable water. The campground is open from May to September and fees are $15 per night for a single unit. The campground is operated by the Forest Service.
