GenieSummary

This campground is located one half mile north of the interstate on Highway 16 and is an OK park in an area without many options. The campground is run down, smelly from the lagoon across the highway, and has oil patch and road construction workers in it. The management is rude and unreasonable and the permanent units in most of the spaces are rundown. The campground charges $16.50 a night and offers level sites, trees, good hookups, and excellent soft water. The railroad track that you cross is a seldom used siding and the trains you do hear are the BNSF main lines that go through the center of town about 1.2 miles south of the park as the crow flies. The bathrooms and showers are filthy and there are no electrical outlets. Despite the noise from the trains, it is a quiet place to ride out the weather and heal your dogs wounded feet. However, it is recommended to bring earplugs.
