Black Sandy State Park is a popular weekend destination for boating, fishing, camping, and water skiing on Hauser Reservoir. The park offers 29 campsites with electricity and one reserved tent site, as well as 5 first-come-first-served tent sites without electricity. Boating, fishing, swimming, camping, picnicking, bicycling, and mountain biking are available. The park has boat slips for rent on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no lifeguard on duty at the park. The park is open 24 hours a day all year for day use and camping. Potable water is available from approximately May 15 to October 10. The park office is open during business hours from May 15 to September 15.
