GenieSummary
The entrance is not RV friendly due to large pot holes and narrow interior roads, and the sites are close together, so there is limited space to open awnings or use picnic tables. The bathhouse and laundry facilities are decent, although the laundry is a bit outdated. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the park is peaceful and quiet. Wifi is available in the rec room, and there are a couple of TV channels. The pool and hot tub are nice, and the park has large shade trees. The curb appeal could be improved, as the grass needs mowing and there are many tree stumps in the sites. Overall, this is an older, well-maintained campground that offers a good location at an economical price.
From The Campground
Helena Campground & RV Park is a casual, quiet park with friendly service located just 7 miles north of the Capital City. The park offers clean showers, laundry, TV, and lounge room.
