Great location! White Sandy Recreation Site is an ideal campground for those looking for a peaceful and scenic location. Located where Prickly Pear Creek joins the Missouri River, the campground offers stunning views of the river and lake. The sites are spacious and level, and there are fire pits at every site. There is no water, power, sewer, showers, or T-mobile coverage, but the basic pit toilets are clean and well-maintained. The beach is clean and available in season for swimming. There is no WiFi, cell coverage or TV reception, but the location is easy to access from Interstate 15 and is close to Helena for grocery and fuel. Senior Pass holders camp for $5 a day. This is a great spot for those who dont mind boondocking and want to enjoy the great outdoors in a peaceful and scenic setting.
