There is a boat launch as well, which weathered the rainstorm and was utilized by many other campers while we were there. Lost Creek State Park is a secluded and scenic campground tucked away between two imposing rock walls. It offers 21 sites with level spots for parking or tents, lots of tall trees for hammocks, and nicely positioned boulders for privacy between spots. There is a beautiful hiking trail that starts at the top of the campground and a waterfall accessible via a short, paved path from the end of the park. There are two small day-use areas, one between sites 6 and 7 and one at the end of the loop. The campground also has a boat launch, a fire pit with a metal grill, and a well-water source. Enjoy the stunning views, the rushing creek, and the wildlife in this beautiful canyon setting.

Lost Creek State Park is a 502-acre park in Montana that offers camping, fishing, picnicking, bicycling, and wildlife viewing. The park features spectacular grey limestone cliffs and pink and white granite formations that rise 1,200 feet above the canyon's narrow floor. Visitors can enjoy a short hiking trail to view Lost Creek Falls, cascading over a 50-foot drop while scanning the cliffs above for bighorn sheep and mountain goats. Wildlife, golden eagles, and bighorn sheep are frequently seen on the cliffs above, and pika are often seen and heard in the rock piles in the upper park.
