Located in Kalispell, MT, Lid Creek Campground is a perfect spot for camping enthusiasts. With four lakeside locations and two just back from the lakeside, it offers beautiful and serene surroundings. The elevation of approximately 5500 makes the atmosphere cool and comfortable. Most of the campsites offer a panoramic view of the lake. However, if the site doesnt provide a direct view, the lake is only a short walk away. Vault toilets are available, but there is no water on-site, so visitors need to carry their water. The host keeps the campsites spotless and generously provides wood for $6. The site is well-suited for tents and small campers, and theres plenty of space for camping. However, the road leading to the campground may be a little tough for RVs. It is a beautiful campsite, and the creek flowing through the site adds to the charm.

From The Campground
Lid Creek Campground is a 23-site campground with picnic tables, vault toilets, & fire grates. There is no water available. The campground is 15 miles south of Hungry Horse on the west shore of Hungry Horse Reservoir. Visitors to the area enjoy a variety of biking and hiking trails that begin near the campground and wind around the reservoir. Boating, swimming and fishing are excellent pastimes on the 27,750-acre Hungry Horse Reservoir. Anglers can expect a catch of cutthroat trout and other varieties. Lid Creek Campground is just 23 miles southwest of the West Glacier entrance into Glacier National Park.
