The campground is full service, but pretty bare bones. It is far enough from the road to be quiet, and surrounded on three sides by fields and pasture. Helicopter fly overs are occasional, but the campground is just a 2 minute drive from base gate, so all the services are closely accessible. The sites are all paved with a decent amount of space between them, and the laundry room is small but new-ish washers and dryers that work well. The camp host is friendly and helpful, and does a great job of keeping the place looking nice with limited resources. There is a walking path at the south end, about half a mile, that is great for dogs to run off-leash. The free wifi is generally good, but slow and drops out unexpectedly. The campground does not take reservations, so it is best to arrive early in the afternoon in peak season to secure a spot.
