The James Kipp campground is the perfect place for those looking for a unique camping experience. Here you can witness the spectacular elk herds in late October, explore the Missouri River with a boat in the summer, and enjoy the solitude of the Charles M. Russell National Wildlife Refuge. The campground offers large, shaded, level campsites with picnic tables and fire rings, as well as outhouses, dumpsters, and water (seasonally). Unfortunately, it is in need of maintenance, but the beauty of the landscape and wildlife make up for it.
