Lake Alva Campground is a great place to enjoy serene camping in Seeley Lake, MT. The campground has sizes suitable for many RVs, with a strong Verizon signal. The campsites are generally clean and have tables and fire rings. Many sites offer plenty of sunlight to power solar energy, and there are well-maintained trails and toilet facilities available. Although some sites have limited shelter and shade, the tamarack tree colors in the fall are breathtaking! The campsite is located near the highway, but campers reported that traffic was not a problem. The area is also bear country, so its recommended to bring bear spray and secure food in bear-proof containers. While there is no direct water access for dogs, the campground is dog-friendly overall. Plus, there are potable water stations in each loop, and plenty of nearby hikes including Morrell Falls and Holland Lake to explore.

From The Campground

Lake Alva Campground is located in Lolo National Forest and offers a chance to camp out and enjoy lake activities such as swimming, fishing and boating. The campground has 39 individual sites and 2 group sites. All boats on Lake Alva must operate at a “no-wake” speed year-round. The campground is open year-round and fees are charged from the Friday before Memorial Day through Labor Day. Individual sites are $20 per night. $5 fee for each additional vehicle after two vehicles.
