What others are saying about this campground
River Point Campground is a quiet and peaceful campground located in Seeley Lake, Montana. It is open in the late season, and some sites are nicely tucked into groves of trees, while others are wide open with very little shelter or shade. Almost all sites are angled to back an RV into and many can handle 30-foot rigs easily. The campground has a really strong Verizon signal, dog-friendly, and has some clean and well-maintained vault toilets and dumpsters scattered throughout the campground. It can get a little crowded on Thursday nights and Friday mornings, but there were always plenty of sites available. The beach access is a short walk from the campground, and there are some nice trails to explore, as well as the beautiful Morrell Falls hike about 25 minutes away. The lake is beautiful, and there is running water. The campground has paved roads and a serene atmosphere, making it perfect for families with kids. You may want to keep everything locked up at all times as bears are active in this area. Black bears were spotted wandering in the field behind the fuel station during the afternoon. Also, the colors of the tamaracks are amazing in the fall, making it worth a trip. Expect to pay $20 per night during the main season, and there are water stations available in each loop.
