Ruby Valley Campground is a former KOA with all the amenities at a slightly lower price. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and the facilities are very clean. The campground is close to Virginia and Nevada cities, and is also close to Ruby Reservoir, a popular destination for gold and garnet panning. Pull-through sites are gravel, level and with minimal shade, and there is a store which is well stocked. The owners are very friendly and helpful, and offer free use of bicycles. The campground does not offer cable or a pool, but Verizon phone and internet have full bars. Overall, it is a nice place to stay for a reasonable price.

Ruby Valley Campground & RV Park is located in the heart of Ruby Valley, surrounded by stunning vistas of the Ruby, Tobacco Root and Gravelly mountain ranges. The campground offers a laid-back family atmosphere and is pet-friendly. It features a full-service camp store, 24-hour laundry facility, free Wi-Fi, grassy playgrounds, and a private lake for fishing. Guests can enjoy volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, hiking, biking, horseback riding, and ATV trail access to public lands. The area is known for some of the best hunting and fishing in Montana. Historic Virginia City and Nevada City are within 8 miles.
