From The Campground
Indian Trees Campground is a medium-usage campground located in Bitterroot National Forest, MT. It has 16 paved and accessible sites that can accommodate trailers/RVs up to 50'. The campground is conveniently located near Highway 93 and offers potable water, vault toilets, picnic tables, fire rings, and a camp host. The campground is named after the scarred ponderosa trees whose bark was long ago stripped in order to extract the cambium layer which was a food source. The campground is open from May to September and reservations can be made on Recreation.gov. Pets must be leashed and camping is limited to 16 consecutive days.
