There are lots of large trees and plenty of grass for walking dogs, and the hiking trail slopes down to a sandy lake where you can spot ducks and butterflies. There is also a resident goose family with four goslings that parade around the pond. The campground is close to a very active railroad, so train horns can be heard, though not so much at night. Wifi is available, but it is best to use a hot spot. Showers are coin operated and there is a weekly discount. There is also an activity board and walking trails to the water.

Birdland Bay RV Resort is a safe and secure park located in Northwestern Montana, bordered by the Clark Fork River and the Thompson Falls Golf Course. The resort offers 16 full hookup sites, restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, and wireless internet. It is within walking distance of a 9-hole golf course and access to the Clark Fork River. The RV sites are large, level, and scenic, accommodating RVs of all sizes.
