From The Campground
Gold Rush Campground is a forested and shady campground located in a narrow canyon bottom along a stream. The campground is open year-round, but is not plowed. There are 7 campsites available on a first come, first served basis. Each campsite has a picnic table and fire ring. Vault toilets are available, but there is no drinking water on site. The Gold Rush Trail starts at the campground near campsite #4 and is less than 5 miles long, but is pretty steep and ends at the CC Divide.
