The Three Forks KOA Journey in Three Forks, MT is an expensive option, but it is a well-kept campground with a nice facility that exceeded many visitors expectations. The KOA includes a very nice bathroom/shower area, which is exceptional for a campground and keeps the facilities clean. Although the park has some muddy sites, it is very clean and well-maintained. Some improvements suggested would be to add more grass or gravel to the sites since many of them were muddy, and the fire pits are too small. Visitors noticed that the owner put a lot of effort into maintaining the campground and generally, it was very tidy. However, there was some road noise from nearby highways, which affected some visitors. Finally, the full hookup sites were too tight for big rigs, making them difficult to navigate with little room. On the other hand, the staff was excellent, professional, kind, and accommodating to visitors.
