From The Campground
Cabinet Gorge Reservoir and Bull River Campgrounds are located in Kootenai National Forest in Montana. The reservoir is home to a variety of fish species including large and small mouth bass, northern pike, pumpkinseed, yellow perch and peamouth. The Bull River is 24.7 miles long and offers fishing for westslope cutthroat trout, brown trout, bull trout, rainbow trout, mountain whitefish, sculpin and largescale suckers. The campgrounds offer picnicking and group picnicking, as well as motorized boating on the reservoir. Visit Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks web site for fishing regulations.
