From The Campground
Yaak River Campground is a beautiful campground located in Kootenai National Forest. The campground has 44 sites, including one host site, with tables and fire rings. Seven sites are pull-throughs most offering an average length of 32'. Amenities include potable water, vault toilets, and access to two rivers. The campground is divided in half by the Yaak River, the camp hosts are located on the east side of the campground along with a group area that can be rented for the day. Yaak River Campground is managed from May through September, but is available all year to visitors. Access is dependent upon weather conditions.
