What others are saying
Apgar Campground is located in the heart of Glacier National Park, near Lake McDonald shoreline and Apgar Village. The campground is suitable for smaller rigs, such as truck campers, tents, and smaller trailers and motor homes, with a few sites that can accommodate rigs up to 40’. The sites are generously sized, with a level pad for tents, fire rings, picnic tables, and plenty of trees for shade. There is a shuttle that comes through Apgar to take guests to the boat and/or bus ride tours or the main lodge. Cell service with T-Mobile is great, but AT&T and Verizon are spotty. The campground has flush toilets and a dump station, but no showers. Firewood is available at a fair price in Apgar Village. The area is very beautiful with full access to the park and the Apgar Village, and there are ranger programs every evening. There is quite a bit of traffic noise due to the road to McDonald Lodge.
