The campground is generally quiet, though there is some traffic noise from the nearby Going-to-the-Sun Road. The sites are close together and offer little privacy, but there is plenty of wildlife in the area, including deer, and Fish Creek, which runs through the campground, is a great spot for fishing. The campground has no hookups or other amenities, but it does have a dump station and a bear locker at each site. Pets are not allowed on trails, which is a standard National Park rule. The campground is accessible from mid-May to late September, depending on the weather.
