Campfire Lodge & RV is a rustic campground located in the national forest, just off the highway to Yellowstone. It has been in operation since 1949 and provides nice shady spots for campers. There are sites along the river edge and the campground offers a 50 ft extension cable for hookups. Unfortunately, the camp electric is not strong enough to support air conditioners, and the sewer hookups need to be hardened against damage from large RVs. Power outages are common and the campground does not offer assistance with finding or settling into spots. Despite these drawbacks, the campground offers a unique rustic experience and is a great place to stay for fly fishers and campers.

Campfire Lodge Resort is an authentic Yellowstone cabin rental and RV park located on the famous Madison River, offering fabulous fly fishing, wildlife viewing, and spectacular scenery. Established in 1922 in the Gallatin National Forest just outside of West Yellowstone, the resort features cabins nestled in the national forest along the Madison River, as well as a West Yellowstone RV park with 17 full RV hookups and 7 water and electric only RV sites. The resort also boasts a full-service fly shop and the best breakfast west of the Mississippi at the Campfire Lodge Cafe. Guests can enjoy amenities such as laundry and shower facilities, and activities such as fly fishing and exploring the nearby Yellowstone Park. The resort offers discounts and specials throughout the year, and has received positive reviews for its beautiful location, friendly staff, and comfortable accommodations.
