Fox Den RV & Campground is a great place to stop for a night in West Yellowstone. They accept tents and RVs but availability is limited, so call ahead. The campground is gravel and level. While RV spots can be too close together, the bathrooms and showers are clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The campground provides maps with local food recommendations and attractions that are close by. The location is advantageous as it is a walking distance to shops and restaurants, and its near West Yellowstone Entrance. The park is not excessively expensive given the proximity to Yellowstone. The staff does a great job keeping the park clean and functional despite initial challenges, and the owners are lovely to speak with. While there are some minor drawbacks like small showers and select irregularities with some sites, the overall experience at Fox Den is positive.

The Fox Den is a family-owned and operated full-service RV camping, tenting, and cabin lodging located in a secluded wooded area with grassy surroundings, only 9 blocks from Yellowstone National Park's west entrance and only 30 miles from Old Faithful. The campground offers large, shaded & level pull-thrus with up to 50 amps and spacious, level RV back-in sites with up to 30 amps, full hookup service, and can accommodate rigs with slide outs and awnings. RV sites, tent sites, and cabins are surrounded by majestic spruce and pine trees. First-class restrooms with hot showers are available to guests at no extra charge. All town services, The Grizzly Discovery Center, Yellowstone IMAX Theatre, Museum of the Yellowstone and Playmill Theatre are within walking distance. The town of West Yellowstone is surrounded by National Park and forest lands, rivers and lakes, providing excellent opportunities for fishing, white water rafting, hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, and sightseeing. Scheduled bus tour pickups are available to all Yellowstone attractions and geological wonders.
