Yellowstone Park / Mountainside KOA Journey in West Yellowstone, MT is a great campground with a friendly and professional staff. The location is perfect for entry into Yellowstone National Park, and the sites are spacious and clean. The laundry services and shower area are extremely clean and comfortable. The campground overall is beautiful and well maintained with great views of the mountains and sunsets. Though somewhat dated, the friendly and helpful staff make the stay worth the price of admission. Walking the perimeter around the creek and bridge behind the park is a lovely activity. Some minor drawbacks include sloped campgrounds, making some trailers uneven, and high sewer connections that make tank dumping difficult. Despite these issues, overall it is a great place to stay, and visitors will likely return in the future.
