Memphis State Recreation Area is a peaceful 163-acre park located in Memphis, NE. The park features a 48-acre lake that offers fishing, non-powered boating, and scenic hiking trails. The campground offers 18 Electric Plus campsites and numerous Basic and Primitive campsites, all of which are first-come, first-served. Amenities include water, primitive toilets, a spacious playground, and a dump and fill station. Memphis is a popular day-use spot and has two day-use areas with two picnic shelters each. Numerous picnic tables and grills are available to accommodate summer picnics and family get-togethers.
