Beatrice City Park is the perfect place to stay while visiting family or enjoying the sights of the area. This city-run campground offers full hook-ups, including 50/30 amp service, for all sites, as well as pull-thrus with shade. The sites are spacious and level, with concrete pads and plenty of room for all types of RVs. The park is well-manicured and offers a variety of activities, such as Frisbee golf, horseshoe pits, and walking/biking trails. There is also a duck pond and award-winning trees. Unfortunately, the park can be prone to occasional low-land flooding, so its important to check the weather before booking. There are no reservations taken, and the campground operates on an honor system for payment. There are also no Wi-Fi services, but Verizon coverage is good. Restrooms are basic but clean. This is a great place to stay for a night or two, and the park staff is friendly and helpful.
