Beatrice City Park is a great place to stay for campers visiting the area. The park offers many amenities for a low price of $18/night, including full hook-ups with 50/30 Amp service and level concrete pads. The park is well-manicured and includes a Frisbee golf course, duck pond, bandstand, and award-winning trees. The park is also part of a larger complex of biking/walking trails, ball fields and picnic shelters. The sites are spacious and layer out much like a commercial RV park, but with more space and no shade. There is occasional low land flooding in the park due to its proximity to the Big Blue River. The park also offers dirt track racing a few miles away at the county fairgrounds or at Fairbury, Nebraska. The park is open on an honor system, with no reservations taken and no one at the site to collect fees. There is no WiFi, but Verizon coverage is very good.

Chautauqua Park is a campground located in south Beatrice, NE. It offers electrical hookups for 20 units, sewer hookup, water hydrants, grills, picnic areas, large tabernacle with tables, two shelters with tables, playground areas, horseshoe courts, lighted ball diamond, two lighted tennis courts, restrooms, hot showers, and river fishing. The camping fee is $18 per night with water and sewer hookup.
