Johnson Lake SRA is a quiet and scenic campground set on the opposite sides of a lake. Inlet Campground is smaller than the main one but offers large, long shaded sites with stunning lake views. The sand beach is wonderful for sunning and swimming with a large, shallow swimming area. The park has many amenities, including playgrounds, biking trails, restrooms (that need some updating), and showers. This park also offers excellent fishing opportunities, with lots of fish seen jumping around sunset.

Johnson Lake SRA is a modern campground located in Elwood, Nebraska. The campground offers year-round camping facilities, including campsites with electricity. The campground has quiet hours from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. and pets are allowed on a leash no longer than 6 feet. The campground requires a Nebraska State Park Permit to enter, which can be purchased online at OutdoorNebraska.org.
