What others are saying about this campground
Rock Creek Station State Historical Park is a beautiful campground located off the beaten path. It offers spacious, paved sites with electric and water hookups, as well as a single water spigot for the entire campground. The campground is connected by trail to the visitor center and station buildings, and there is a small museum and historic buildings to explore. The showers require quarters, but the hot water is nice. The sky is dark and the stars are fantastic, and the campground is surrounded by lovely, large mature trees. There is a degree of history here relative to the Pony Express, Wild Bill Hickok, and wagon train trails. The campground is a little on the expensive side for folks from outside Nebraska, but it is worth the effort to visit this gem of a park.
