The roads within the campground are a little tight, which may pose some challenge for those with bigger rigs. However, the pull-thru sites are spacious enough and allow easy maneuvering for vehicles of any size, while smaller back-in sites are interspersed throughout the grounds. The campground is heavily wooded, offering ample shade to campers. There are shared water sources between sites, but the water pressure is stable and plentiful. As for electric hookup, there are 50/30 AMP available for all sites. Although some sites are close together, others are more spread out, affording campers with varying choices for their preferred level of privacy. The camp office may not always be open for check-ins, but campers with reservations can still proceed to their designated site. In addition, the park provides free maps to guide visitors along the way. A delightful perk of staying in this location is the access to Lake Helen. The lake is perfect for a morning stroll or a fun game of disc golf for those looking to stretch their legs. All in all, Lafayette Park Campground is a lovely spot for a short and peaceful retreat.

Lafayette Park Campground in Street Gothenburg, Nebraska features 30/50 amp electric and water hookup sites. Visitors have access to showers, restrooms, dump station, large spaces, walking trails, playground, horseshoe courts along with a Girl and Boys Scout Campground.
