From The Campground

Olive Creek State Recreation Area is a small but beautiful park that offers 612 acres of land and water for outdoor recreation enthusiasts. The park features a 175-acre lake that supports a variety of fish species, including largemouth bass, bluegill, black crappie, and channel catfish. The lake is also great for boating, although there is a 5 mph speed limit. Hunting opportunities include upland game, turkey, waterfowl, and deer on 437 acres of land. Primitive camping is available with 50 non-pad sites without electricity scattered throughout the area. There are also 22 picnic tables and 24 grills available for picnicking.
