This campground is a no-frills spot with river rock gravel parking and full hookups along the back fence. It is quiet and secure, with level sites and a friendly camp host. The showers and restrooms are clean and private, and the dump station is easy to access. Unfortunately, the campground is sometimes stinky due to a feedlot 5 miles away. The 30 amp sites are adequate for W/E, but 50 amp service would be preferable. The campground is great for an overnight stay or a fair type activity, and is conveniently located near the city. Be sure to visit the Hastings Museum while in town to learn about the history of Kool-Aid!
