This campground is located on the edge of town, in a great location. It features large pull thru 50 amp sites, and is mostly quiet. The sites are clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The bathrooms and showers are nice, and there is a small building with additional bathrooms and showers near the tent camping area. The water, electric, and sewer are reliable. Unfortunately, there are a few permanent campers who let their dogs run without picking up, and the park is infested with ticks. The grass and weeds are allowed to grow and the sites are dirt (used to be gravel) and in rainy season they turn to mud and pools of standing water. The manager has raised prices, but few improvements have been made to the physical property or amenities in three years. The mens bathroom and showers have saloon doors, which diminish privacy.
