Kearney RV Park & Campground is a great overnight option while traveling through Nebraska on I-80. It has easy on/off access to the interstate and features two sections: Getaway Bay and North Park. Both sections offer 100 ft. spacious pull-through sites with water, sewer, and 20/30/50amp electricity. The sites in Getaway Bay section have paved pads while the North Park section has level gravel lots. The interior roads are easy to navigate, and all sites are extra-long and suitable for big rigs and 5th wheel trailers. While the park does not have a lot of trees, it does have some shade and has an open sky for satellite TV access. Community building houses restroom/shower and laundry facilities, and it has a community room with kitchen seating up to 30 people. The park is clean and well-maintained. It is not a destination park with tons of amenities but has basic amenities designed to accommodate overnight stays. One of the downsides is that the campsites are adjacent to I-80, so visitors should be prepared for 24/7 road noise. Also, the nightly fee is a bit high but is likely appropriate for the area. Verizon has a 3-bars-4g signal for internet access, and Wi-Fi is available for email and minimal internet usage. Overall, Kearney RV Park & Campground is a decent place to stay for the night while traveling through Nebraska on I-80.
